Quick Answer
Choose Dear Kitty if you want a pink, kitten-inspired set with playful designs and don't mind checking layout compatibility. Choose Meow if you need a cat-themed set in 84-key or 100-key sizes for a straightforward fit.
Design Differences: Pink Kittens vs Playful Cats
Dear Kitty leans into a soft pink palette with motifs of toys, cat trees, and paw prints, celebrating the bond between cats and their owners. Meow offers a broader cat-themed look that fits a range of boards, with a whimsical style that's less tied to one color story.
If your setup is built around pink or pastel tones, Dear Kitty will blend in more naturally. If you want a playful cat theme that works across different keyboard sizes, Meow gives you more layout flexibility.
Layout Compatibility and Price Trade-Off
Meow explicitly comes in 84-key and 100-key options, so you can pick the exact size for your board. Dear Kitty does not list a size option, which means you'll need to verify whether it fits your layout before buying.
Dear Kitty is priced at USD 38.94 (compared to USD 59.00), while Meow costs USD 41.30 (also compared to USD 59.00). The small price difference may be worth it if Meow's size options save you from a compatibility headache.
Key Trade-Offs at a Glance
- Design Focus: Dear Kitty is pink and kitten-themed with specific motifs; Meow is a more general cat design that fits varied setups. Match the set to your desk's color palette, not just the cat theme.
- Layout Options: Meow offers 84-key and 100-key choices; Dear Kitty does not list size options, so you must verify compatibility. If you need a specific size, Meow is the safer pick.
- Price: Dear Kitty is USD 38.94, slightly cheaper than Meow at USD 41.30, but both are discounted from USD 59.00. The small price gap is worth paying for guaranteed layout fit.
